Independent Financial Advisor
Craig Dunn began his career as a CPA with the international accounting firm Ernst & Young in 1984. From there, he progressed into ever-expanding leadership roles in banking, technology firms and start-ups.
A decade ago, he re-focused his attention from guiding companies through complex issues toward helping individuals navigate their own complex decisions around their personal finances. Craig teaches strategies for the safe accumulation of investment funds, helping maximize Social Security benefits and retirement income from all sources, and minimizing the expected expansion of income taxes.
Craig is passionate about sharing the strategies he employs for a safe, tax-free retirement income for himself with others. He says, “The best designed offerings, products and strategies in the world don’t matter if they are not understood and adopted.”
A recognized thought leader and educational speaker, Craig’s focus is on reducing the complexity of strategies for wealth accumulation, investment and tax minimization by designing education to make them simple to understand and easier to execute.
“I teach simple strategies to help people understand their futures. The strategies used by the wealthiest can be understood and used by individuals at any level.”
Craig is an expert strategist for growing wealth with less risk and less taxes. He helps individuals in retirement “spend on a predictable, consistent basis without fear of running out of money or market losses cutting their standard of living – or leaving any dreams on the table!”
Craig is also a serial business owner. “If you own a business, I understand your issues,” he says. “I’m passionate about sharing the strategies I employ for myself with others.”
Born and raised in a small town in Arkansas with interludes around the United States and the globe, he graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in the “City of Colleges,” Conway, Arkansas. Craig has been married to his wonderful wife for 39 years and they have four children, Lauren, Britton, Jordan and Alex.
In his spare time, Craig is an avid scuba diver, and plans to take his next dive trip to Bonaire in the Southern Caribbean with his sons. He loves to travel, and recently took his first overnight train ride in a private bedroom car. He began running marathons at age 40 and completed more than 20 of them, but he has replaced marathons with hiking, recently taking hiking trips to Moab, Yosemite and Big Bend.
